The Department of UG-Chemistry was established in the year 1967. The Department has two spacious laboratories The Department has experienced and dedicated faculty members. The Department has implemented CBCS (Choice based credit system) scheme as per UGC regulations. Our department has one computers & printer with internet connection.Students of our college have been placed in various sectors. Programme offered :PCM and CBZVISIONOur vision is to build foundation for excellence in chemical education.MISSION1) Provide quality education to students whose career paths require expertise in chemistry.2) To develop young minds and discover their talents. 3) Dedicated for content knowledge, research quality and professional behavior. Objectives of the programmes :• To provide a broad foundation in chemistry that stresses scientific reasoning and analytical problem solving with a molecular perspective.• To provide students with the skills required to succeed in graduate school , chemical industry and professional college. • To expose the students to a broad breadth of experimental techniques using modern instrumentation. Outcomes of the programme :At the end of the programme the student will be able to :• Identify and solve problems in the field of chemistry. • Be able to plan, execute, using appropriate data. • Be able to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
